The Best Camera

They say the best camera is the one you have on you.

In that spirit, here’s some of my favorite photography taken with my humble iPhone 5. This thing is amazing. Of course, if you’re shooting with a DSLR or a mirrorless camera, you want to set everything to manual so you can control every variable yourself—aperture, shutter speed, ISO and focal length. However, when you’re just starting out in photography, using a smartphone is an excellent window in. You can worry about aesthetic matters like composition and subject matter, and not concern yourself with the more technical details of exposure. iPhones—and other smartphones—are also just getting better and better. For instance, the most recent iPhone model includes a dual camera system that allows you to mimic the shallow depth of field available with DSLR lenses. Follow me on Instagram for more.
