“Have It Your Way” is Burger King’s fifty-year old customer ethos. If you want pickles on your Whopper then, Hey, that’s your disgusting call. No judgement. The trouble was, BK’s website didn’t reflect that. It was static, rigid and boring. We redesigned the site with sliders so users could dial up the fun, food and King content however they liked. Each visit to the site became something new and never before seen.


In today’s era of responsive sites and content that’s fed across multiple devices, it might seem quaint to have a customisable corporate homepage. But serving up a site like this was revolutionary back in 2008. The first-of-its-kind navigation was awarded with a D&AD nomination in the interactive category.
